GARDENBOWL
Apart from the Danish Open the Gardenbowl is the longest running blood bowl tournament in Denmark.
The tournament is a jolly affair that focuses less on competitive blood bowl and more on beers, barbecue, beers and good old’e Danish HYGGE in the backyard of one Swedish coach’s house.
This year the Gardenbowl has returned to the suburbs on Vestegnen, MissSweden will once again open his lawn for the community and try the impossible task of living up to the impossibly high standard of the events that has gone before.
SIGN UP AND PAYMENT
The tournament will take place on the 12th of August 2023 and costs 500 DKK (which includes 3 meals, free beer, snacks and prices). Registration closes on 30th of June, the venue holds “only” 32 people, and tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis, you have only secured your ticket when you have paid for the ticket and you see your name on the participant list below.

ROSTER DEADLINE
Roster lock is on the 4th of August, rosters can be submitted by sending an email to tripleskull@bloodbowl.dk if we have not received your roster by this date, you will get a random roster assigned to you by the organizer! We will do a roster check, but the correctness of the roster is your own responsibility. Feel free to ask in the event or elsewhere if you have doubts. Mistakes found on the day will be corrected in whatever way the organizers find suitable at the time.

FOOD AND DRINK(S)
The tournament fee includes three meals and drinks, there will be soft drinks in moderate quantities. People who attended the first Gardenbowl at MissSwedens place will tell you that the chef team is amazing. If you have special needs or preferences, please contact truls.mosegaard@gmail.com in good time, so we can plan the menu accordingly.

TEAM CREATION RULES (WIP)
Your team may have a maximum of 1,300,000 in Team value including all players, staff, inducements and skills.
INDUCEMENTS
You are allowed to induce the Halfling Master Chef, Bloodweiser Keg, and a single Beer Pig (See special rule one). Provided you don’t pick the sneaky git skill on any player you may induce bribes. No other inducements are allowed.
SELECTED SKILLS
Each player may be given a maximum of one selected advancement, a selected primary skill or a secondary skill.
SKILL and ADVANCEMENT CAPS
No skill may be selected more than four times, and a team may have a maximum of 8 advancements.
CHARACTERISTIC ADVENCEMENTS FOR TIER 3
Players in Tier 3 teams, Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, and Snotlings, may take a characteristic increase instead of a skill. The Characteristic are selected, not randomly assigned and are at the usual costs given in the rule book.
SPECIAL RULE ONE: Pig Sty!
After buying a full team of minimum 11 players any race may induce a Beer pig. A Beer pig has the stats and skills of a Beer Boar plus Loner. If you choose to bring a beer pig to the game, you must roll a D6 after each game. On a roll of 1-3 a random player gains the Drunkard skill and Thick Skull. Guess why? If the player already has Thick skull he gains Brawler.
SPECIAL RULE TWO: U go I go!
Once per drive a coach may attempt to gain a RR, that is usable for this drive only.
To gain this extra RR, the coach chugs a fresh beer, once done the RR is gained unless the opponent also chugs a beer. The choice to deny the RR must be made immediately after the coach has finished drinking his beer, once the RR is secured, it must be used in the ongoing turn or it is lost.
RESSURECTION
All injuries are reset after each game. Each game will start with a fresh roster, no SPP are gained, and injuries do not carry over from one game to the next.

Yellow: Catcher, Runner
If your opponent can’t easily recognize the different player types and skill selections on your team, then mark them somehow.
MISCELLANEOUS
• First round is a random draw. Subsequent rounds will be swissdraw. The best placed coaches will be seated on the tables with low numbers.
• Gametime is 2½ hour. The Tournament Orcanizer will make an announcement at half-time.
• Dice must be easily recognized. If a Coach cannot accept your dice, you must play with standard dice.
• If a Coach requests to use your dice, you must “share” dice.
• In doubt—Orcanizer has the final word.
